Charm Bags a la Khal

I’ve just redone all of the charms around my house. To keep things fresh and moving, I’ve changed the entire way I’ve done all of my wards and charms; which means it’s safe for me to share some of the old things I used for protection and stuff. So, here are some of the charm bags I’ve just gotten rid of and replaced with other things.
I. The Front Door – A chain of protection charm bags
For protection from humans:
  • Bullet shell
  • Nightshade – I grow this is my garden (in a controlled part of my garden where I can keep animals from getting to it), but it’s poisonous so take care when handling it.
  • Thorns
  • Nails
For protection from once-human and non-human spirits:
  • Broken mirror
  • Rosemary
  • Graveyard Dirt – Mine is taken from the grave of a soldier that I work with.
  • Thistle
  • Beans
  • Spit
For protection from negativity:
  • Pine
  • Tiger’s Eye
  • Mint
  • Sage
  • Lavender
  • A robin feather
II. Under the Mattress – For protection during travels
  • One small hag stone
  • A piece of black twine
  • Roots
  • Rosemary
  • Mugwort
  • Cedar
  • An arrowhead
  • A symbol “to find home”
III. Under the Pillow – For protection from nightmares
  • Chamomile
  • Lavender
  • Sugar
  • A symbol for “sweet dreams” (on the off chance I have real dreams)
IV. In the Supply Trunk – For spirit work and divination/protection of supplies
  • Mugwort
  • Petrified wood
  • Sweetgrass
  • Two small skeleton keys
  • Crossroads dirt
  • Owl feathers
  • Coyote claws
  • Rosemary
