I’ve gotten a lot of questions in my inbox about this curse since I made a post about it. So, I thought I would write up my curse to share. You know, now that it’s done and latched on and wreaking a little havoc.
So…what does the X of Swords curse do?
Well, if someone’s exaggerating, manipulating me, overreacting, making a mountain out of a molehill, telling lies, or all of the above…
it gives them something to really complain about. It basically takes all of the feelings they used to manipulate me and all the tears they used to make me feel too guilty to stand up for myself, and makes them real.
- Take a candle and carve the name of your target into it. I smeared a little of my blood across the name, but it’s not necessary. Set it aside.
- Go to the nearest Tarot deck. Pick out the X of Swords and a card that you think best fits your target. I try to use cards that fit their personality or role in the situation. There are, however, lots of other ways to associate a card to a person. Whatever. Whatever. Do it whatever way you like, just make sure the link is strong.
- Now, I put my Tarot cards in a plastic bag for reasons, but I just imagine that it’s not there. Write out the specifics of what you want to become real for your target. Then (for while I put my tarot cards in a plastic bag) spit on the paper, fold it up and put it in an envelope with the cards and some banishing power.
- Lay the envelope flat. Place your candle on or next to it and burn it until it goes out. I left my card in the envelope until i had received a sign of the yuck I had set into motion. But how long you leave them there is up to you.
